At Pequannock UNICO we’re raising funds and promoting initiatives to serve the people in our community who need them most -- our neighbors. UNICO is the Italian word for unique, one of a kind. The founders of the UNICO National organization in 1922 believed that UNICO would be the only one of its kind because it placed service to the community before and above fraternity.
In the ensuing years UNICO became an acronym that stood for:

Programming and community engagement are at the core of our efforts to serve our local communities. Pequannock UNICO hosts trips, runs fundraisers, serves our famous Italian foods at local festivals and produces parties and events to raise money needed to facilitate donations to those who need it most. 100% of all funds raised are given to local charities, food banks, scholarships and individuals and/or families facing hardships or who are in need.

Pequannock UNICO is a non-profit service organization promoting Italian American heritage while serving our local community. As part of UNICO National, we believe in "Service Above Self."
Founded in 1989, we are celebrating 30 years of service to Pequannock Township and surrounding local communities. We have raised and gifted over $500,000.
